We chose The Other Room to put up a garden fence for us as we wanted to support a local business. They came round to discuss our plans and arrange a date and we felt confident that they would provide a professional service. The fence looked smart once up. However, following strong winds, the fence slanted over as the posts had not been put far enough into the ground. After spending months trying to contact the Other Room and having a surveyor report that the fence damage was due to the posts being too shallow in the ground we have had no contact, denial that it was their fault and and have subsequently been ignored. Had the Other Room come and fixed the fence there would have been no issue and we would be happy to recommend and support this local business in the future. The attitude of the representative in contact was terrible and we have been left with a half standing fence for which the Other Room has accepted no blame or responsibility for. Would not recommend their service to anyone as they are not interested if there is a problem.
